Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to enquiries, quotations and services provided by OptiTest Solutions.
1. About OptiTest Solutions
OptiTest Solutions provides independent remote fibre test analysis, validation support, fibre characterisation review and remote test equipment control support from Norway.

2. Scope of services
OptiTest Solutions provides independent remote analysis of submitted fibre optic test data, including OTDR, iOLM, fibre characterisation and related documentation. Services are based solely on the information and files provided by the client.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, OptiTest Solutions does not perform physical site inspection, field testing or direct verification of installed infrastructure.
3. Service agreement formation
A website enquiry alone does not create a binding service agreement. A service agreement is formed when scope, price, turnaround and applicable file handling terms have been confirmed and the client has approved commencement in writing.
No billable analysis starts until files are received where required, dataset scope is verified, price and turnaround are agreed, and the client has approved the work in writing.
4. Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring that submitted files and information are complete, accurate, relevant to the correct project and lawfully shared with OptiTest Solutions.
Clients should avoid submitting unnecessary personal or confidential information unrelated to the requested service.
5. File submission and secure upload
Where analysis requires technical files, OptiTest Solutions may provide a secure upload link after the initial enquiry. Preferred submissions include native test files or one ZIP containing the full project file set and supporting documentation.
Files should not be assumed received until OptiTest Solutions confirms receipt.
6. Incomplete or revised submissions
If submitted datasets are incomplete, corrupted, materially revised, or require significant resubmission after analysis has commenced, OptiTest Solutions reserves the right to revise delivery estimates, apply reasonable additional charges, or re-scope and re-quote the service where necessary. Where possible, clients will be informed before additional work is undertaken.
7. Quotations and scope changes
Quotations are based on the information available at the time of assessment. If dataset size, complexity, urgency or scope changes materially, OptiTest Solutions may issue a revised quotation before continuing work.
8. Delivery and turnaround
Turnaround times are estimates and apply from the point at which a complete and usable file set has been received and the client has approved the work in writing. Delays caused by missing, corrupted, incomplete or revised data may affect delivery times.
9. Deliverables
Deliverables may include a PDF report, findings summary, supporting notes, marked-up files, spreadsheet summary or other agreed documentation. Only deliverables included in the confirmed scope are included in the quoted price.
10. Fees, invoices and VAT
Invoices are issued according to the agreed quotation. Payment is due within the agreed payment period. Prices exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will only be added where OptiTest Solutions is required or permitted to charge VAT under applicable Norwegian rules.
11. Professional opinion and limitations
Reports and analysis are professional technical opinions based on submitted data. They should not be treated as a guarantee of physical network condition, installation quality, contractual compliance or future performance unless expressly agreed in writing.
12. Confidentiality
Submitted project files, test results, quotations and correspondence are treated as confidential and are not shared except where necessary for service delivery, legal compliance or with the client’s instruction.
13. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the OptiTest Solutions Privacy Policy.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Norwegian law, OptiTest Solutions is not liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of revenue, project delay or decisions made using incomplete or inaccurate source data. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service, unless otherwise required by mandatory Norwegian law.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Norwegian courts unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
16. Changes
OptiTest Solutions may update these Terms as services, systems, pricing or legal requirements change.
